about
Everyone knows Bloodborne's soundtrack is amazing. This track, though, is tucked away in an optional boss fight as part of The Old Hunters DLC, so it's pretty underappreciated. This is my metal cover that hopefully stays true to the spirit of the original track but brings a lot of my influences forward!

The mashups in each track are bold, but they all work because this Do a Barrel Roll! lineup lays down TIGHT grooves. Their technique is a joy to listen to; everything just clicks!
"Bless the Mines" is so good. It's a funk cover of DKC2's Mining Melancholy until BAM, Africa comes in halfway-- but only for a bit, then we go back to DKC2. Then BAM, Africa comes back and it's here to stay! A glorious solo, then the song reverts to form to finish up. With its HOT transitions, this track is a banger! platinumazure
